Dining near San Antonio Riverwalk

La Margarita

The staff is excellent, providing great service with a smile. The salsa with the complimentary chips is delicious. The margaritas are phenomenal, but drink them slowly as they are pretty strong. La Margarita can get quite crowded on weekend nights, so it is best to arrive early in order to avoid waiting for a table.

Las Canarias
This high-end restaurant is simply stunning. The food is always impeccably prepared with the freshest ingredients. The service is equally strong. Diners never have to wait at Las Canarias to get service. The servers arrive as soon as patrons sit down and come by frequently to make sure everything is all right. There are three levels of the restaurant with beautiful views of the Riverwalk. The Sunday morning champagne brunch is highly recommended.

Biga on the Banks
This place is frequently mentioned as the most impressive restaurant in San Antonio. The d├ęcor is lovely and the views of the Riverwalk are fantastic. The service is outstanding. The servers will take the time to thoroughly explain the menu and answer any questions diners have. The food is amazing. They do a particularly great job on their salads and desserts. The sticky toffee pudding is very popular. Anyone looking for a gourmet meal with great service should head to Biga on the Banks.

Boudro's on the Riverwalk
Boudro's has some of the best food on the Riverwalk. The highlight is definitely the guacamole that is freshly prepared for customers right in front of their eyes at tableside. They also have great drinks, especially the prickly pear margarita. They have a lovely outdoor dining area, but the inside can get a little loud when it is busy. Be sure to make reservations if coming on a Friday or Saturday night.

Zuni Grill
This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Eggs Benedict is the highlight of the breakfast menu. They do a lot of Tex-Mex cuisine that is very flavorful and appeals to a broad range of palettes. Margarita lovers should be sure to try the enormous Viper Margarita. They do a lot of seafood dishes. The service is usually very good. Customers can sit in the air-conditioned interior or enjoy the outside patio when it is cool.
